Hi Rob,

First of all thanks for the guide. I’ve tried following it but when I am installing IOS36 I get an error at last step saying it can’t find the 3351 wad files. Any ideas?

i managed to figure out the problem with gh games and also the covers. i just changed the ios to 223 for the gh games.
it works brilliantly now.
but i’m now having trouble getting monster hunter tri to work from my hdd.
it loads as far as the start stcreen and then crashes.
is this a known problem? or am i doing something wrong?

Hi Rob
I have uloader on my wii and it works fine. except guitar hero warriors of rock will not load and neither will guitar hero 5. i just get a black screen. can you advise me of a way to fix this problem.

also i am having trouble trying to figure out how to get covers on each game i have on my hdd.

Hong Wei,

Do you get an error message? 002 ? there is a setting in Uloader to enable this per game I think its called the 002 “fix” or something like this. Try that and see how you go!

Hi Bob,
Very nice work, thanks a lot! I followed your tutorial “4.2E load backup games”, and it seems that I successfully get my back wii 4.2E soft-modded. Everything was the same as you showed in the post. But currently I am able to play ONLY ONE game on a usb stick. It is very weird, and I don’t know why. That only game is “Mario Bro the next levels”. The rest of the games appear in the Uloader, but if I load them the wii stuck at loading games….
Would you please help me out? Thank you in advance.

Did you manage to fix this, if not I suggest starting again assuming the Hard Drive is ok and Plugged into the correct USB port try following the step by step guide here:

Pay particular attention to the Step around 7 which will have you remove old IOS files before replacing them.
You may wish to backup your current SD card incase you find out for some reason its the HDD and not the wii.

I have tried to add new games to my kids wii that was soft modded last year thinking i would be able to do it.. i learned just a little and added one.. although in the coverflow channel the game added but no cover, it played.. i tried another one.. no success with mario new game.. so i looked for help.. a guy transfered some files over to do a syscheck and apps folder etc…and also some other loaders for my homebrew.. and now NOTHING WORKS.. i try to open uloader gx and nothing happens… im so sad because i dont know all the jargon and finding it hard to solve.. i have photos of my syscheck on my desktop.. i had 137 games.. cant play none now.. i was told by this guy that my syscheck shows i need some ios’s or need something else.. im desperate to solve this .

Please can you help.. ive looked for you on facebook everywhere lol
